(ਪੰ:ਸ)ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕੋਲ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਸੂਬੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੋਈ ਵਾਧੂ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਦਾ ਸੂਬੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਭਾਵਨਾਤਮਕ ਮੁੱਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਬਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਹਰ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਬੂੰਦ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ।
Reiterating that Punjab has no spare water to share with any other state, the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann said that water is an emotive issue for the state and its people adding that the state government is committed to saving every precious drop of water.
