ਕੰਪਨੀ ਨੇ ਕੋਵਿਡ -19 ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਆਪਣੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕੀਤਾ
(ਪ:ਸ) ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਕੰਟੈਂਟ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਜ਼ੀ ਐਂਟਰਟੇਨਮੈਂਟ ਐਂਟਰਪ੍ਰਾਈਜਜ਼ ਲਿਮਟਿਡ (ਜ਼ੇਈਈ) ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਕੋਵਿਡ -19 ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਆਪਣੀ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਸੀ ਐਸ ਆਰ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦੀ ਆਧਿਕਾਰਿਕ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਗੰਭੀਰਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਉਪਕਰਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਰਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਸੌਂਪ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਵਿਡ 19- ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਆਪਣੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮਾਨਯੋਗ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ, ਕੈਪਟਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਹਾਜ਼ਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ, 12 ਐਂਬੂਲੈਂਸਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਬੈਚ ਅੰਤਰ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਰਣ ਬਿਜ਼ਨਸ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ੇ.ਈ.ਈ 5 ਗਲੋਬਲ ਦੇ ਸੀ.ਈ.ਓ., ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਮਿਤ ਗੋਇੰਕਾ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੌਂਪਿਆ। ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਝੰਡਾ ਲਹਿਰਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਰਸਮ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਹੈੱਡਕੁਆਟਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ 150 ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਗਾਈ ਗਈ।
ਕੰਪਨੀ ਨੇ ਰਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਹੇਠ ਲਿਖੀਆਂ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰਸ਼ੁਦਾ ਸੀ ਐਸ ਆਰ ਬਜਟ (ਕੋਵਿਡ -19 ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੜਾਈ ਲਈ) ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ:
• ਐਂਬੂਲੈਂਸਾਂ – 20 ਐਂਬੂਲੈਂਸਾਂ ਰਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ.
• ਪੀਪੀਈ (ਨਿੱਜੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਉਪਕਰਣ) ਕਿੱਟਾਂ – 2000 ਕਿੱਟਾਂ ਰਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ.
ਇਸ ਪਹਿਲ ‘ਤੇ ਬੋਲਦਿਆਂ, ਅੰਤਰ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਰਣ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ੇ.ਈ.ਈ 5 ਗਲੋਬਲ ਦੇ ਸੀ.ਈ.ਓ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਮਿਤ ਗੋਇੰਕਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਮੀਡੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੋਰੰਜਨ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਤੇ, ਜ਼ੀ ਨੇ ਖਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਇੱਕ ਮਹਾਂਮਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਨ ਦੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦੇ ਸਮੁੱਚੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਇਨਫਰਾਸਟਰਕਚਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਕਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। ਕੋਵਿਡ -19 ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਆਪਣੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਲਈ, ਰਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਉਪਕਰਣ ਦਾਨ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਅਸੀਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹਾਂ। ”
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਰੱਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਵਿਡ -19 ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸਾਵਧਾਨੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। ਅਸੀਂ ਕੋਵਿਡ -19 ਪ੍ਰਤਿਕ੍ਰਿਆ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਲਈ ਜ਼ੀ ਈ ਈ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ।”
ਕੋਵਿਡ -19 ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਇਨਫਰਾਸਟਰਕਚਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਵੱਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਦੀ ਸੀਐਸਆਰ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਵਿੱਚ, ਜ਼ੀਈਈ ਨੇ 240+ ਐਂਬੂਲੈਂਸਾਂ, 46,000+ ਪੀਪੀਈ ਕਿੱਟਾਂ, 90+ ਆਕਸੀਜਨ ਹਿਮਿਡਿਫਾਇਅਰਜ਼ ਅਤੇ 6,00,000 ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਰਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਨ ਇਸ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਦੀ ਸੀਐਸਆਰ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਕੂਲ ਹੈ।
ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ‘ਤੇ, ਜ਼ੀ ਨੇ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਜਾਂ ਅਸਿੱਧੇ ਵਰਕਿੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ 5000 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਡੇਲੀ ਵੇਜ ਕਮਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਅੱਗੇ, 3400+ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਕੇਅਰਜ਼ ਫੰਡ ਲਈ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਇਆ। ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਰਕਮ ਜ਼ੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮੇਲ ਖਾਂਦੀ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਸਮੂਹਕ ਕਮਾਈ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਕੇਅਰਜ਼ ਫੰਡ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਇੱਕ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਐਂਟਰਟੇਨਮੈਂਟ ਖਿਡਾਰੀ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਤੇ, ਜ਼ੀ ਕੋਵਿਡ -19 ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਆਪਣੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹੇਗਾ।

Company intensifies its fight against Covid-19
(P:S) India’s leading Content Company, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEE) today, in line with its national level CSR drive against Covid-19, officially handed over critical healthcare equipment to the state of Punjab, further strengthening its fight against Covid-19. In the presence of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Captain Amarinder Singh, the first batch of 12 ambulances were handed over to the Punjab Government by Mr. Amit Goenka, CEO, International Broadcast Business & ZEE5 Global, in a digital flag-off ceremony beamed across District Headquarters & 150 villages of Punjab.
The Company has utilized the sanctioned CSR budget (for the fight against Covid-19) to provide the following essentials to the state:
• Ambulances – 20 ambulances donated to the state.
• PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Kits – 2,000 kits donated to the state.
Speaking on this initiative, Mr. Amit Goenka, CEO, International Broadcast Business & ZEE5 Global said, “As a responsible player in the media & entertainment ecosystem, ZEE has taken positive steps to enhance the overall healthcare infrastructure of the Nation, especially with an aim to fight the pandemic. We’re glad to support the Punjab Government by donating critical healthcare equipment to the state to enhance its fight against Covid-19.”

In its national level CSR drive towards enhancing the country’s healthcare infrastructure against Covid-19, ZEE had committed to donate 240+ ambulances, 46,000+ PPE kits, 90+ oxygen humidifiers & 6,00,000 Daily Meals. The donation to the state of Punjab is in line with this national level CSR drive.
At a national level, ZEE has also financially supported over 5000 Daily Wage Earners working directly or indirectly with the Company. Further, 3400+ employees have contributed towards PM CARES Fund. The amount generated was matched by ZEE, and the collective proceeds were donated to PM CARES Fund.
